OSK gives Daimler “100” reasons to celebrate
Beijing, September 22, 2013 – Daimler celebrated its centennial birthday in China by blowing out 100 candles on its cake (so to speak), and OSK China helped put together the truly magnificent celebration that marked the company’s 100-year anniversary in China.
Held at the flagship Mercedes-Benz Brand Center in Beijing, the event presented a truly grand experience for guests. Over 200 top executives across all Daimler brands and joint-ventures in China, media, and VIP guests, arrived at the celebration by witnessing a wide-spectrum of the entire Daimler product line-up in China on full display, perfectly representing the company’s success and strength throughout the years in the world’s largest auto market.
Guests freely-explored the vast, two-story event space, featuring a clean, elegant and sophisticated design concept that was created especially with the Daimler image in mind. As guests mingled with each other during the cocktail reception, a stringed orchestra played delightful classics to “lure” them to their seats ahead of the main show.
The combined evening show and dinner was headlined by a full presentation on Daimler in China by Mr. Hubertus Troska, Chairman of Daimler Greater China and Member of the Board of Daimler AG, Mr. Nicholas Speeks, President and CEO of BMBS, and the Vice Mayor of Beijing, Mr. Zhang Gong. The anniversary event also featured the spectacular Asia-premier of the new S-Class, a breathtaking aerial segment, and a dramatic serenade by superstar singer Sheng Wenjie.
