New Product and Brand Ambassador Revealed
With the ambition for further success in the region, PETRONAS, the national oil company of Malaysia, appointed former Formula One Champion Lewis Hamilton as the global brand ambassador for its lubricant oil PETRONAS SYNTIUM. With the support of OSK China, PETRONAS launched its latest range of lubricant products, SYNTIUM 7000, in Shanghai. PETRONAS SYNTIUM is – among others – used to power the MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula One cars in the 2013 season.
The event offered three highlights – a press conference featuring the product launch and Lewis Hamilton ambassador announcement, and a SYNTIUM club launch with fans and a festive dinner. Highlight moments also included Lewis Hamilton’s “calligraphy performance”, which he even “tweeted” about on Twitter.
The event attracted more than 100 media and distributors across China and generated successful coverage on Chinese social media and print media.
In the ballroom of the Grand Hyatt in Shanghai, OSK China realized a premium set-up to highlight the premium quality of the products, as well as the heritage of the brands’ innovation of fluids technology. The event run-down, conceptualization and motion design/visualization, were also delivered by OSK China.
